How to Change or Reset Your Payment Password on Kazawallet
How to Change Your Payment Password (If you remember the current one):
- Open your account side menu and tap "Settings".
- From your profile options, select "Security".
- Under the "Choose Security Method" section, select "Payment Password" and click the "Change" button.
- A pop-up window will appear; complete the following fields:
- Enter your current payment password.
- Enter your new payment password (a 6-digit code).
- Re-type it in the confirm payment password field. - Click the blue "Confirm" button to save changes.
What to Do If You Forgot Your Payment Password?
If you no longer remember your current password, navigate to the same section as above. Once the pop-up window opens, follow these steps:
- Click on the blue "Forgot payment password?" link.
A 3-step recovery process window will appear (as shown in the new image):
Step 1 (Send Verification Code): Verify your email address displayed on the screen, then click the blue "Get Code" button to receive a verification link/code in your inbox.
Step 2 (Verify the Code): Open your registered email, copy the received code, and paste it into the required field to confirm your identity.
Step 3 (Reset Payment Password): Type a new 6-digit payment password, re-enter it to confirm, and save your changes.
Crucial Security Notice: Whether you simply changed your payment password or reset it because it was forgotten, asset-related transactions such as withdrawals and transfers will be suspended for 24 hours to protect your funds from unauthorized access.
